| Update July 9, 2011 The L-5 NEWSLETTER was last published in the Spring of 2010. While another issue has been in the works for quite some time, numerous difficulties have prevented its publication. The most recent delay is owed to my moving back to Alaska for the summer to work as a float plane pilot in Juneau. This is a welcome relief after 18 months of unemployment as a pilot, but it has greatly hampered my ability to work on the newsletter and administer other club affairs. In addition, an unrepairable "melt-down" of the computer on which all files and programs used to publish the newsletter further stymied my efforts. All data has finally been recovered and transferred to a new computer, so that problem is now resolved. For those members who have joined the club after the last newsletter was published a year ago, please contact me and I will make up for it by providing any two back issues of your choice. For those members who already have all the back issues, all I can offer is an apology and a promise to rectify the situation soon.
